She joined our family one week ago tomorrow. She is part border collie - lab, and part something -- maybe dachshund? Zoe has proven to be adorable, lovable, sweet, calm (most of the time) and a general joy to have in our house. I wasn't excited about having 3 things to potty train, but she's doing great regardless. She is very intelligent and has already begun to realize where she's supposed to potty. :)
When she first came home she was very timid. She only wanted to spend time with Chris and I and definitely didn't want to leave our bedroom, but she's warming up to the kids and even made a special appearance at the birthday party Saturday. :)
We're very excited to have her.

ReplyDeleteWe think that she'll probably be about the size of a border collie, about 40-45 lbs maybe. Although, she's growing by leaps and bounds right now! Chris had duty Wednesday, so when he got home last night all he could do was go on and on about how much she's grown! LOL It's worse than w/ the kids even.
I'll take her to the vet as soon as I can -- hopefully we'll get a better idea then. :)
